From front door, bike or hike to trails in the North Tahoe Regional Park with tennis courts, ball fields and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Agatam Lodge is conveniently located between Squaw Valley and Northstar for fast access to the world famous ski slopes of North Tahoe. It's a 10 minute drive to Northstar and about 20 minutes to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Mt Rose, or Diamond Peak resorts. The house is perfect for a family or two small families, or three couples skiing together. There are 3 bedrooms plus a small room with a bunk bed and 2 1/2 baths. Two Queen bedrooms, bunk bed room, and a full bath on the entry floor, and the Master bedroom and bath and open living area on the upper floor. There is also an additional 1/2 bath next to the kitchen. The gourmet kitchen has new appliances, gorgeous granite slab countertops and a new rustic maple hardwood floor. The dining table seats six and there is more seating with stools at the island bar counter. The interior furnishings of the house are in an updated casual Mountain Craftsman style. Relax on the sunny deck and enjoy the filtered view of Lake Tahoe down at the Beach. We have a brand new gas barbecue and comfortable deck furniture to cook out in style. Several local restaurants and art galleries are just a short 3 minute walk. The Old Range Steakhouse is at the foot of our street, so you can walk down to dinner and enjoy the sunsets on the lake, without having to get back in the car. The main shopping area of King's Beach is a short drive for groceries and other shopping, and Tahoe City is a short drive the other direction. The house has been newly renovated with new carpets and hardwood floor, and slate entry. There is a wood stove in the living area for cool nights, and all of the bedrooms have cozy designer quilts and luxury bedding. We have plenty of driveway parking and room for your boat trailer, too. Agatam Lodge has an inside laundry room next to the first floor entry to take care of your sandy beach towels and wet skiing and hiking clothes. Your whole family will have a great winter or summer vacation staying at the comfortable Agatam Lodge!
